Gerd Ramsperger, achieved a Master in Finance & Economics from the University of Tübingen in Germany. In addition he earned a degree as Certified European Financial Analyst and Asset Manager (CIIA). In the USA he attended various Executive Seminars at the Wharton Business School and at Princeton University.

Gerd began his career in New York and London. In 1993 he moved to Zürich to work for Merrill Lynch Int. Ltd.. He then joined the Zürcher Kantonalbank and was appointed to Head of Equity Research. His team was ranked number 1 in the years 2000 and 2001 in Switzerland.

At Clariden Leu Group (CS Group AG) he took over the
responsibility for the Private Banking investment strategy and the discretionary mandates team in 2001.

Hired by Bank Sarasin & Cie in 2003 as Head of Asset Management & Research, he restructured successfully the investment organisation. There he was responsible for 60 specialists and almost EUR 15 billion of Institutional and Private Banking assets.
